YMCA Aerobics classes are varied to give participants an opportunity to set their own pace while experiencing a variety of styles, pace and personality. Each class, however, accomplishes the goals of cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, strength and toning. Listed below are the classes offered. All aerobics are free and unlimited to YMCA members. Non-members may pay for a daily all-day pass to the YMCA for $6.

Cardio Room The Cardiovascular Room features treadmills, upright bikes, XRide recumbant bikes, Cybex Arc Trainers and Precor ellipticals. This room is open during regular YMCA hours, seven days a week.
Work out in the Weight Room
The YMCA’s weight room is used by both men and women and is designed for those 16 and older. (Children 15 and under are not allowed in the weight and cardio rooms). The YMCA offers several different types of machines including: abs, back, leg press, leg extension, chest press and hamstring. The weight room features brand new, top of the line rubber encased dumbbells and plates. The weight room is open during the regular YMCA hours.
SilverSneakers The SilverSneakers Fitness Program is the nation's leading fitness program designed exclusively for older adults and is a trademarked product of Healthways. SilverSneakers classes are appropriate for individuals who are fit and active as well as those who are sedentary, intimidated, unfamiliar with exercise, or entering post-rehabilitation programs, and/or those who enjoy a positive social enviroment. Classes are centered around improving the physical and mental health of every participant, minimizing age-related physical degeneration, and improving all nine health and skill related fitness components: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, body composition, flexibility, speed, power, agility, balance and coordination.
