Whether you just want to maintain your weight or lose it, get ripped, prepare for a marathon or just find a new and creative way to get active, your YMCA is committed to building a better you--inside and out! Maybe the weight room isn't for you. We get it! Take a dip in our heated lap pool, walk on our treadmills or elliptical machines. "What's an elliptical machine?", you say? Come by the YMCA and let one of our friendly staff members show you, give you a tour of our facility--including our community meeting room--and talk to you more about YMCA membership. Scholarships
The YMCA is a non-profit organization and depends heavily on paid memberships. In keeping with its Christian roots, however, it is important to make services available to all persons. Some financial aid is available to those who qualify. Applications for scholarships are available at the YMCA, and each case is given individual attention.
YMCA Membership
Membership in the Plainview YMCA is open to all. The YMCA is a member organization and encourages all utilizing the Y to join. To make membership affordable to everyone, every effort is made to keep costs down. Dues are reviewed and adjusted periodically by the board of directors. Payment for memberships may be made via annual payments or monthly bank drafts.
Corporate Memberships
Special rates are available to businesses that provide a minimum number of participating employees. Companies with 10 or more employees participating in payroll deduction and/or providing at least 50 participating employee members are eligible for corporate rates.
Membership Cards
Membership cards are issued to each member upon joining the YMCA. Members are required to bring their cards to the YMCA each time they visit the facility as they protect their rights and investment.
Child Watch
Child Watch is a babysitting service available to members and non-members. Let us watch your kids for up to two hours so you can enjoy a great workout!
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:15 - 10:30 AM
Monday- Thursday: 4:00 - 8:00 PM
Friday: 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 - 12:00 noon
Cost: $3 per coupon/per child per visit or 15 coupons for $25 or 40 Coupons for $50
Facility Rental
The YMCA facility may be rented for special occasions, swimming parties, birthday parties, all-night lock-ins, etc. A party room is also available. Reserve the entire facility for as little as two hours to overnight. Call the YMCA at (806) 293-8319 for additional information and reservations.

Here are a few rules to help everyone have a great time at the Y:
◦No food or drink other than screw on lid water bottles/Gatorade bottles beyond the lobby.
◦Unruly behavior will result in removal from the facility.
◦Bring and use your membership card each time you come to the Y.
◦Please do not bring valuables to the YMCA. The Y is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
◦Demonstrate YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility
◦While in the YMCA, children 10 and under must be supervised at all times by an adult (18 years or older).
